Education Qualification for RRB Job Notice
RRB Technician Grade 1 Signal
A) Bachelor of Science in a single discipline of any sub-stream of the foundational streams of Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute OR Bachelor of Science in any combination of these substreams (OR)
B) Three years of engineering diploma in any of those fundamental streams, or in any combination of those streams (OR) engineering degree in any combination of those streams.
RRB Technician Grade 3
Matriculation/SSLC + ITI from authorized NCVT/SCVT institutions in the refractory trades of forger, heat treater, foundryman, pattern maker, and molder. (OR) Completion of a course and Act Apprenticeship in a comparable trade in addition to matriculation or SSLC.

The selection procedure for RRB Technician positions will consist of three steps. Prior to anything else, the candidates must pass the CBT exam. The computer-based test will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks; however, the sections, marking system, and exam patterns change for the two postings (Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3). The comprehensive RRB Technician Exam Pattern 2024 is available to candidates for both Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 positions.
- There will be no deduction of marks for questions that leave unanswered.
- One-third of the marks will be removed for questions that are answered incorrectly.
