Madras High Court Job Education Qualification

1. Senior Grade Stenographer (Group-B post)
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University
Technical Qualification: The State Board of Examination, Board of Technical Examination, Board of Technical Education and Training, and the Government of Puducherry have recognized the following subjects as passable: (i) Stenography Lower/Junior Grade (English); (ii) Typewriting Higher/Senior Grade (English); and (iii) Typewriting Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil, Malayalam, or Telugu.
2. Junior Grade Stenographer (Group-C post) –
Educational Qualification: A pass in Higher Secondary Course (12th class) or equivalent from a recognised Board / University
Technical Qualification: Pass the following examinations administered by the State Board of Examination, Board of Technical Examination, or Board of Technical Education and Training, as approved by the Puducherry government: In English, (i) Junior Grade Stenography; (ii) Senior Grade Typewriting; and (iii) Junior Grade Typewriting in Tamil, Malayalam, or Telugu
3. Translator/Interpreter (Group-C post) –
Educational Qualification: a recognized university degree when the major topic is Telugu or Malayalam. Note: i) Those who completed their studies in Telugu/Malayalam up to the SSLC/HSC/Degree level or who took Telugu/Malayalam as one of their topics in those levels may also apply. In the end, priority will go to the candidate who majored in Telugu or Malayalam language studies at an accredited university, provided that all other criteria are met. Note: ii) Requires sufficient understanding of Telugu/Malayalam and English to read, write, and speak.
Technical Qualification: NIL
4. Junior Clerk (Group-C post) –
Educational Qualification: a certificate in Higher Secondary Education (12th class) or its equivalent from an accredited university or board
Technical Qualification: a result in the Typewriting Lower/Junior Grade Examination offered by the Board of Technical Education and administered in English, Tamil, Malayalam, or Telugu.
5. Typist (Group-C post) –
Technical Qualification: A recognized board or university pass in the Higher Secondary Course (12th class) or its equivalent Pass the State Board of Examination/Board of Technical Examination in the following subjects: (i) Lower/Junior Grade Typing in English; (ii) Lower/Junior Grade Typing in Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam.
6. Driver (Group-C post) –
Educational Qualification: A pass in VIII standard
Technical Qualification:(i) Need to have a current license to drive a light motor vehicle. (ii) Passing both the driving proficiency exam and the government-mandated medical exam.
7. MTS (General) (Group-C post) –
Educational Qualification: A pass in SSLC or its equivalent from a recognised Board of Education.
Technical Qualification: NIL

Application fees for Madras High Court Job Vacancy

Regarding the positions of Junior Clerk, Senior Grade Stenographer, Translator/Interpreter, and Typist Candidates from the General category and those from the BC, BCM, MBC, DC, Others, and UR categories must pay the registration price of Rs. 750 (Only) and Rs. 500 (Only) for the posts of Driver & MTS (General). Online payment of the registration fee is mandatory.

There is no registration fees required by candidates who are PWBD, SC, SC(A), or ST.

Age limit for Madras High Court Recruitment 2024

For MBC/ OBC / EBC / BT/ BCM Candidates – 18 to 33 + 2* years
For Others (i.e., Applicants not belonging to SC / ST / MBC/ OBC / EBC / BT/ BCM) Candidates – 18 to 30 + 2* years
*As per G.O.Ms. No.50, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel Wing), Puducherry, dated 29.07.2022, two years age relaxation to Upper Age Limit is given as a onetime measure.
For Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Candidates – 10 years (In respect of reserved applicants, over and above the admissible relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for MBC/OBC/EBC/BCM/BT)
