Education Qualification for Job Notice

1. Assistant Commandant (General Duty (GD) (Male) - (i) Should hold a degree of recognised university with minimum 60% aggregate marks. (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

2. Assistant Commandant (Commercial Pilot Licence (SSA) (Male / Female) - (i) Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subjects with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed diploma are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. (ii) Should possess current Commercial Pilot Licence issued/ validated by Director General Civil Aviation on the date of submission of application.

3. Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical) (Male) - (i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

4. Assistant Commandant Technical (Electrical/Electronics) (Male) - (i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

5. Law Entry (Male / Female) - A degree in Law from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

Vacancy Application fees

Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI. Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and who are entitled for waiver of examination fee.

Note: Exemption of Examination Fees. Candidates from SC/ST category are entitled for waiver of examination fee. Candidates are liable to be discharged/ rejected at any stage of recruitment/ training if it is found that false SC/ST certificate has been produced to claim waiver of examination fee/other concessions as applicable.

1. Assistant Commandant (General Duty) - Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 Jun 2002 (Both dates inclusive). (05 Years relaxation for personnel serving in Coast Guard or equivalent personnel in Army/Navy/Air Force)

2. Assistant Commandant (Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL-SSA)) - Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 Jun 2004 (Both dates inclusive).

3. Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical) - Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 Jun 2002 (Both dates inclusive). (05 Years relaxation for personnel serving in Coast Guard)

4. Assistant Commandant Technical (Electrical/Electronics) - ) Born between 01 Jul 1998 to 30 Jun 2002 (Both dates inclusive). (05 Years relaxation for personnel serving in Coast Guard)

5. Law Entry (Male / Female) - Born between 01 Jul 1993 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive). (05 Years relaxation for personnel serving in Coast Guard or equivalent personnel in Army/Navy/Air Force)

Note:

(i) Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.

(ii) Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates. No relaxation is applicable for 12th class marks except CPL-SSA entry.

(iii) In case the candidates are awarded grades/ CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/ CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the University from where they have obtained the degree/school board

(iv) Candidates having Integrated Post-Graduation are also eligible provided they should have a certificate issued by the respective Institution/ University, certifying that the candidate has passed the qualifying Degree (with Percentage/Class) as a part of the Integrated Post Graduation Course and the candidate is eligible for award of Graduation Degree. The candidate has to upload the certificate carrying Name, Father’s name, Date of Birth, Registration Number/ Roll No. during the registration.

(v) Income certificate for EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) as per Government of India format (no other format will be entertained) and related regulations

2.	Stage-II Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) Candidates will be screened through Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception &Discussion Test (PP&DT)
3.	Stage-III: Final Selection Board (FSB) The candidates are subjected to Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test).
