- Applicant must have qualified the GATE Examination in either the year 2021/2022/2023 and have a valid GATE score of 2021 / 2022 / 2023 in the same subject as the qualifying degree discipline indicated in the Essential qualification table.
- Applicants must have 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate in the qualifying degree specified in the essential qualification table for each cadre / subject from universities / institutions recognized by the government / UGC / AIU / AICTE.

| 4. Graduate Engineer Trainee – Instrumentation – Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technology (Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication). |
| 5. Graduate Engineer Trainee – Civil – Full time Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. |
