Education Qualification for SEBI Job Notice
General
master's degree, postgraduate diploma* (minimum two years' duration) in any field of study, law degree, engineering degree, or qualification as a chartered accountant, chartered financial analyst, company secretary, or cost accountant from an accredited university or institute.
Legal
The requirement for education is a law bachelor's degree from an accredited university or institute. Desired Experience: After enrolling under the Advocates Act, 1961 (25 of 1961), two years of post-qualification experience as an advocate, including as an associate in an advocate's or solicitor's office or law company, is preferred.
Information Technology
A bachelor's degree in engineering, regardless of branch, or a bachelor's degree in any field combined with a post-graduate degree in computer science, computer application, or information technology from an accredited university or institute, with a minimum two-year length.
Engineering (Electrical)
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university or institute is the required educational background. Experience that is desired: (i) Working familiarity with electronic systems such as UPS, EPABX, CCTV, addressable security alarm, and fire alarm systems. (ii) Possessing maintenance expertise for air conditioning units, pumps, elevators, etc. (iii) PERT/CPM method expertise and experience overseeing building projects in all its facets.
Research
A Master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma* in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Financial Economics, Mathematical Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Business Analytics; OR A Master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma* in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, International and Trade Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Agribusiness Finance; OR A Master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years) in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Statistics & Informatics, Applied Statistics & Informatics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning (Accredited by the Association of Indian Universities as being on par with a master's degree in that field).
Official Language
Bachelor's degree in Sanskrit, English, Economics, or Commerce with Hindi as a subject; OR Bachelor's degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation from an authorized University / Institute; OR Master's degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor's degree level.
SEBI Vacancy Application fees
The application charge is Rs. 1000/- plus 18% GST for the Unreserved/OBC/EWS category and Rs. 100/- plus 18% GST for the SC/ST/PwBD category.

Age limit for SEBI Grade A Recruitment 2024
As of March 31, 2024, applicants' maximum age cannot be greater than 30 years. The candidate's birthdate must be April 1, 1994, or later.
According to the relevant laws, the maximum age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ST, ex-servicemen and disabled ex-servicemen, 03 years for OBC and OBC-NCL, 10 years for PWD in the General category, fifteen years for PWD in the SC/ST category, and thirteen years for PWD in the OBC category.
