Education Qualification for Indian Army Job Notice
1. Agniveer General Duty (All Arms) –
Educational Qualification:
- Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% overall and 33% in each subject. For boards using the grading system, a minimum of D grade (33%-40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in each subjects and an overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent, amounting to 45% in aggregate.
Note: Applicants with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
2. Agniveer Technical (All Arms) –
Educational Qualification:
- Pass the 10+2/Intermediate Exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English with a minimum of 50% overall and 40% in each subject.
OR
- 10+2 / intermediate Class exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board, including NIOS and ITI courses of at least one year in the appropriate subject with a National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) level of four or above.
OR
- 10th/Matric Class pass with 50% in aggregate and a minimum of 40% in English, Maths, and Science with 02 years of tech training from ITI or two/three years diploma from recognized educational institutions including polytechnics in the following streams:-

3. Agniveer Office Asst/ Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) –
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2/Intermediate Pass the exam in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with a minimum of 50% in each subject and an overall average of 60%. In class XII, students must achieve a minimum of 50% in English, Math, Accounts, and Bookkeeping.
4. Agniveer Tradesman 10th Class pass (All Arms) –
Educational Qualification:
- Class 10th Simple pass.
- There is no limit on aggregate percentage, however you must have scored at least 33% in each subject.
5. Agniveer Tradesman 8th Class pass (All Arms) –
Educational Qualification:
- Class 8th simple pass.
- There is no need for an aggregate percentage, however students must have obtained at least 33% in each course.
